Welcome to the community of Hoover, where life is peaceful, proud and prosperous. Incorporated in 1967, the City of Hoover was named after William H. Hoover and the area has been widely a residential community since the 1930’s. Even so, there are very many things to do in Hoover AL. There is the Riverchase Galleria, one of the largest shopping centers in the Southeast. Along with the beautiful rolling hills and landscape, the Riverchase Galleria has drawn new residents and businesses to the city.
